2010 Cardiac Health Foundation Golf Tournament

This year's tournament was a terrific success once again. The day was a fun day for all golfers. The weather couldn't have been better. The temperature was very comfortable and although is was a bit cloudy, the rain held off until the very last hole and even then is was just a sprinkle.

The Cardinal Golf Course was up to its reputation. Tyler Hawthorne, our rep, made sure that everything was in place for us and made his staff available to us through out the day and evening to insure that the event would run smoothly. AND IT DID!!!! Thank you to Tyler for all his help and direction. Also thanks to the staff at Cardinal for a great buffet meal and service.

We also need to acknowledge and extend our gratitude and thanks to all the golfers who attended as well as all our many sponsors for without you this day would not have been possible. The many raffle prizes as well as the items for our live auctions generated quite a bit of funding for the foundation. There seem to be a lot of interest in the items and as such created a challenge as to who would bid more. This created a lot of hype and fun. Our sincere thanks go to Robin Campbell our auctioneer for creating the mood and the environment.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers for their time and effort to make this tournament a success in particular we would like to acknowledge Christina Mellos of the foundation for her leadership in making sure that everything would go off with out a hitch and to Christina Zaharia, Sharon Upton and Amanda Carlyle for their enthusiasm and their time.
