Testimonial from Len Kubbinga

Up until two years ago I had always led an active life, enjoying family, home, cottage, hobbies and travel; confident that a moderate lifestyle would protect me from health problems. So nobody could have been more shocked and unprepared to cope when I was hit with a heart attack one cold February morning.

Thanks to my introduction to Dr. Kavanagh's program, his lectures and his book "Take Heart", I have learned so much about taking care of my heart. The expert guidance of the Toronto Rehab Staff, with their emphasis on health, diet and an appropriate exercise regime, has clearly guided me on the road to recovery.

I am currently walking 3.5 miles most days, taking past in a resistance training program, and am looking forward to next year's WALK OF LIFE (2009)
